San Pedro de Alcantara: How to enjoy yourself in Costa del Sol, Spain

Marbella? No thanks, San Pedro is where it's at! Want to head to where the locals hang out, and get a feel for 'real' Spain? San Pedro de Alcantara was ideal for this - we spent five days relaxing on the coast, so here's my favourite things to do in this gorgeous part of Spain!

An evening with owls at Rosliston Forestry Centre

It is literally what it sounds like - hanging out with and learning about the falconers favourite feathery friends and seeing them fly. They are absolutely gorgeous little beings - have a read about what we learnt, who we met and see the photos from our evening with owls!

Our First Scottish Road Trip

Scotland, you beauty. I was in awe as we drove around the many old towns, lochs and glens of Scotland, it truly is a breathtaking part of the United Kingdom! This post isn't a how-to guide, or anything remotely helpful.... What it is though, is a virtual escape through late winter Scotland, and a heavy dose of "I need to go see this myself". I hope you like the photos!

Why I disappeared off the internet, and what's on the cards for me and you now I'm back!

It's been a busy few months full of new ideas and exciting adventures. So - sorry for leaving you all hanging! I decided to just go and live life for a while, and have a bit of a low-key brainstorm about what content I want to send out to you. In this post I let you know a little about what I've been up to, and what's happening on the blog - there's a whole new addition coming soon! So check it out, and let me know what you think!

What is lifestyle design?

Lifestyle design means examining your life, career, goals and values and thinking about how you can make these things align sooner rather than later. You should be able to create a life that makes you happy and feel fulfilled, and I want to share how this can be a reality! This can include what you choose to do as a career or job, as a hobby, in your spare time.... Big or small, lifestyle design is achievable. Read about how I'm making it happen for me, and you can too. (Plus join our facebook group - coming soon!).

The best things to do in Burleigh Heads

Burleigh Heads is a small but gorgeous part of the Gold Coast, right between Surfers Paradise and Coolangatta. It is a surfers dream, with surf suitable for all levels and plenty of activities to keep people entertained! It has heart, cafes and shops to die for, and a lifestyle to be envious of... We spent a week here, and here is my list of the best things to do in Burleigh Heads!

An Awesome AirBnB Experience

What I love about AirBnB is the option of connecting with locals – some houses are all to yourself, and in others you are sharing with the hosts. This gives a great feel for what the people are like, how they live their lives, and they can give great recommendations for the best things to see, do and eat. Read all about our first AirBnB experience in Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast :)

The Weekend Collection: Travel Blogs & Bloggers

For this weeks inspiration collection, I've drawn from my own niche - travel bloggers! There is a wealth of them on the blogosphere, and they have a fantastic amount of daydream material. Whether you just want some holiday inspo, or want to figure out how to ditch your 9 to 5 for full time travel, these peeps have a story or two for you!

My Favorite Things About Christchurch

Spending a week in beautiful Christchurch in the middle of winter was great - it's not 'bustling' like neighboring Queenstown and Wanaka, but it's got great character, a lot of heart and lovely people. Here's a list of my favorite things about Christchurch (plus, lots of things to do!).

Introducing New Zealands Lesser Known Attractions

We all need to step out of the box occasionally - traveling included! Don't always stick to the same types of activities, check out the lesser known or more unusual activities wherever you are. I have begun reviewing all of my share-worthy activities on Tripadvisor, so you can find great new things to do on your travels through New Zealand and beyond - cruisey or adventurous!

Blind Travelers: Charles and Joanne

For a month at the beginning of this year, I was privileged enough to spend time with some very interesting people - my partners grandparents. They flew from the UK to spend a month with us. Here's the interesting part - they are almost completely blind. I quizzed them both about what lures them to travel, and how they deal with the difficulties of navigating the world without sight.
