I'm so glad you're here. I created this website as a reflection of our life's journey - around the world, adulting (it's a constant work in progress *amiright?*) and life's adventures - big and small. We are a community of people who strive to live life to it's fullest potential, suffer severe FOMO, and are likely to stay up too late researching itineraries and the concept of the universe. We live life fuelled by our own courage and independence (and coffee, probably). Come join us!
I'm Jessie, a creative entrepreneur from New Zealand who is now based in the Midlands of the UK. I left my 9-5 job at the end of 2015 to begin the life I imagined - traveling and making time for my passions. I am on a mission to create a life I love and to inspire others to do the same!
What you can expect from The Seekers Space:
- Travel guides from around the world - what I chose to do where and why, recommendations and travel tips
- Tips and advice for living a travel-indulgent life (it ain't easy being a wanderluster or digital nomad you know....).
- Narratives of my experiences and the people met along the way. I love creative writing and have been previously featured in Destinations Magazine so expect some interesting stories hitting up your inbox!
- Lifestyle design and intuitive living style posts - I am a big believer that we can create our reality mindfully and to our choosing. I will sprinkle through a collection of posts about creating your ideal lifestyle mindfully and with intention.
I was born in New Zealand and grew up in the country (like, the major wop-wops). and found myself in a 9-5 animal science career. I took my first major overseas trip in 2013 and couldn't shake the need for freedom after that, so I saved up, quit my job and flew to England at the end of 2014 with plans to travel for the next three years. Fast forward to the present and I'm living and working in the UK and travelling as much as I can.
As well as my 'day job' I work freelance at a variety of things! I am a travel writer and photographer as well as running an online business for passionate creatives, providing bespoke branding and web design plus product photography. You can check that out here! If you would be interested in working with me in regards to writing/photography, or would like me to feature your business on this website then don't hesitate to get in touch. I work with travel based companies to showcase their area of the world, their activities and help create a buzz about their slice of paradise. Sound good to you? Check out my work with me page. Let's hang out on social media - I spend my time mostly on Instagram and Twitter. See you there!
Are you a travel based company looking for bloggers to collaborate with?
I work with tourism and travel based brands to promote and generate interest in their locations and activities. This can involve photography for use on social media and in marketing, sharing interesting posts about you with my
audience and social media channels. It is well known that people are researching more and making well informed decisions and are turning to first hand experiences and trusted sources of information to help - usually, bloggers they know, like and trust.
If you are interested in showcasing yourself through sponsored content on The Seekers Space, click the button below for a copy of my media kit.
Are you a travel blogger wanting to contribute to The Seekers Space?
Contributors are being accepted for travel and lifestyle articles, if you have an idea you want to pitch, please send me an email! I would love to hear from you. This is an opportunity for you to get in front of a new audience and your content would be shared across our social media platforms also.
Just here for some inspiration?
Grab a coffee then, and head over to the blog. Read about my adventures so far (including moving to the other side of the world!) and get some ideas for your next holiday. Then make sure you head on over to my social media and check out what's happening there - I share tons of photos and updates that don't make it onto the blog itself. I hang out mainly on Twitter and Instagram - see you there!
